About
Evert Ypma is a conceptual strategist, design researcher and designer working at the intersection of science, institutional transformation and public value.
As founder of Imagining Science, he develops transdisciplinary collaborations between scientists, designers, and artists exploring how knowledge can be created, organised and communicated across disciplinary boundaries. His work encompasses science communication, spatial and digital knowledge environments, and strategy and innovation for university and science organisations.
Drawing on leadership experience in higher education and consultancy, Ypma works with organisational complexity, institutional responsibility and the conditions required for knowledge to become accessible and socially consequential.
He moves between conceptual direction and practical realisation, supporting institutions in reflecting on their changing contexts so they can shape their future with clearer intent.
